A recommended starting point is approximately one-quarter teaspoon of flavor per pound of chocolate. If the flavor intensity is too pronounced, reducing the amount by half is suggested. Ideally, the flavor should dissipate three to five seconds after consumption, leaving a clean finish and a desire for more.
