Newport Flavors offers a range of both 95% and 100% certified organic flavors, with a commitment to eventually producing exclusively 100% organic flavor concentrates and extracts as ingredients become available. The company often creates its own organic ingredients to meet stringent quality control standards. Given the nascent stage of the industry, the technologies for producing these ingredients are still developing. Newport Flavors employs only filtered RO water and organic alcohol as solvents in the creation of organic and natural flavors. If extraction cannot be achieved through these methods, it is not pursued. Steam distillation is another technique utilized, which is typically sufficient for manufacturing these distinctive flavor concentrates and extracts. For example, organic vanilla extract is made by grinding organic vanilla beans into a pulp and allowing them to soak in an organic alcohol/water mixture for a period, sometimes extending to several months. A standard organic vanilla extract requires a minimum extraction period of fourteen days, a practice Newport Flavors adheres to. This method is also applied to citrus and other fruit flavor extracts. Post-extraction, filtering and clarifying techniques are employed before bottling or packaging, ensuring no chemical residues remain due to the absence of chemical solvents. Many organic flavoring ingredients are initially derived this way before being incorporated into water-based or oil-based organic flavor concentrates. To achieve water solubility, the oils derived from extraction or steam distillation are emulsified using an organic gum or starch under high pressure and shearing, breaking the oils and gums into small particles that adhere without reverting to their basic forms. This safe and effective process results in premium organic flavor oils, concentrates, and extracts. Newport Flavors has pioneered many of these methods and takes pride in its flavorings, spices, coffees, and all organic products, aiming to provide enjoyment and satisfaction.

Processing Time & Shipping
Orders placed after 2:00pm Pacific Time will be processed the next business day. Newport Flavors and Fragrances makes every effort to process and ship orders as soon as possible, excluding weekends and holidays. Occasionally, orders may be delayed due to inventory shortages or increased order volume. Please note that our processing time is typically lengthier because each product is made to order, meaning you get the freshest product possible. When estimating your order's arrival date, please be sure to include the additional transit time it will take for your product to arrive once we ship it. We use UPS for most domestic shipping. International shipments, and orders being delivered to P.O. Boxes are shipped USPS. We reiterate that for all commercial accounts we do require a 10 business days processing time. This includes all orders $200 and above. Please plan orders accordingly. The reason commercial accounts experience a longer processing time is because the order processes for business accounts requires a much more detailed set of procedures. Remember, all orders are made fresh to order.

Shipping within the 48 contiguous states is calculated through UPS or USPS. Orders that ship to Alaska and Hawaii are subject to additional shipping costs.
