Designed for the discerning chocolatier, this organic gingerbread flavor oil is an exceptional addition to chocolate coatings. It harmonizes beautifully with dark, milk, or white chocolate, imparting a sweet yet delicate note that enhances the overall taste profile. For optimal flavor distribution, it is advisable to blend a small amount of this flavor oil with 76-degree coconut oil. A recommended starting point is approximately one-quarter teaspoon of flavor per pound of chocolate. If the flavor intensity is too pronounced, simply reduce the amount by half. The ideal outcome is a clean finish, where the flavor dissipates three to five seconds after consumption, leaving a desire for more. Achieving this balance requires practice, as chocolate's inherent intensity can easily overshadow added flavors. This flavor oil also excels in baking applications, performing well in cookies, cakes, and bread. It remains stable at room temperature for weeks and freezes effectively. Additionally, it can be incorporated into icings, oil-based coatings, sauces, and dressings, and can be emulsified for water solubility. With minimal usage levels, it contributes little to no nutritional value.

Newport Flavors and Fragrances makes every effort to process and ship orders as soon as possible, excluding weekends and holidays. Occasionally, orders may be delayed due to inventory shortages or increased order volume. When estimating your order's arrival date, please be sure to include the additional transit time it will take for your product to arrive once we ship it. We use UPS for most domestic shipping. International shipments, and orders being delivered to P.O. Boxes are shipped USPS. We reiterate that for all commercial accounts we do require a 10 business days processing time.
